WILDCARD TAZ READY FOR SUPERBIKE BOW
Tarran Mackenzie is set to make his World Superbike debut later this month with a wildcard at the legendary TT Circuit Assen.
The Stirling-born Mcams Yamaha racer, who followed in the footsteps of his dad Niall in winning the British Superbike Championship last year, will go head-to-head with a packed grid of talent – including multiple world champion Jonathan Rea, former Motogp stars Scott Redding and
Alvaro
Bautista and reigning world champion Toprak Razgatlioglu.
The wildcard ride on April 23 and 24 will be the first venture on to the world stage for Taz, but it’s an opportunity he’s relishing.
The 26-year-old said:“i am very excited to make my debut in the Worldsbk championship and it will be quite special to do it with my MCAMS Yamaha team.”
