Drymen Ladies Night in aid of hospice

West Stirlingshire Friends of Strathcarron Hospice are holding a Ladies Night on Friday May 6.

It will feature entertainment by singer Barbara Bryceland as well as a raffle at the Winnock Hotel in Drymen.

West Stirlingshire Friends of Strathcarron Hospice secretary Tina Morrison said: “Barbara Bryceland featured on the hit ITV programme the X FACTOR in 2007 singing the Barbara Streisand classic ‘Somewhere.’

“Barbara has become a firm favourite with the public. She is known to most of the ladies who attend the dinner as an excellent entertainer. So come along for a song and a dance.

“The evening will also feature a raffle and there will be some amazing items up for bids.”

In recent years the annual Ladies Night has been put on hold due to the pandemic. There were no events in May 2020 and May 2021.

However, a successful mid-term Ladies Night last October raised more than £4000 for the hospice.

The May Ladies Night dinner consists of a welcome glass of bubbly and three-course meal.
