Hospital outburst

-

A Callander woman threatened cops during an outburst at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

Michelle Marshall, of Station Road, had admitted a charge of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear and alarm – at the hospital, and at an address in Stirling’s Woodside Road – on April 28 last year.

The 44-year-old had acted in an aggressive manner, repeatedly shouted and swore, and uttered threats of violence towards police officers.

Not guilty pleas to charges of assaulting two police officers at the Woodside Road address on April 28, by kicking and attempting to elbow them on the head, were accepted by the Crown.

Stirling Sheriff Court heard on Wednesday this week that since a social worker and the accused had both been ill a report had not been prepared for the court.

Sheriff Derek Hamilton continued the matter for the criminal justice social work and restriction of liberty order reports previously requested until May 18. Marshall was ordered to appear on that date.
