Club celebrates 50 years
Forth Vally Ladies Curling Club celebrated 50 years of curling recently with 48 playing in an invitational bonspiel made up of guests and club members.
The winning team of Stephen Walker, Anne Macintosh, Irene
Hird and Sheona Erskine were presented with beautiful engraved cut crystal glasses kindly donated by Maggie Mauchline and presented by Team GB Winter Olympic silver medallist Bobby Lammie.
The winner of the draw shot challenge was Peter Mclaren.
Each playert in the invitational event also received a 50th anniversary pen and a delicious 50th anniversary cupcake baked by Elaine Sutherland.
