Campus up for award
The Stirling University campus has been shortlisted in a national competition.
It is in the Commercial Development category in the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Awards 2022.
Construction at the central campus was completed between April 2019 to October 2021 – the new build covering 300m2 over three levels with disabled parking, extended footpaths and refurbishment works.
A new external landscaping and atrium entrance has also been created from previously unused space.
And the new third-floor level above the entrance hall provides space for various activities, such as open study, meeting, display and events.
Other Scottish shortlisted entries are St Andrews Link Trust HQ, Greenock Health and Care Centre and Merkinch Primary School and Family Centre.
Entries are within five categories – Commercial Development, Heritage, Community Benefit, Public Sector, and Residential.
