I have lived in Stirling for nearly 40 years and was formerly a director of a family owned engineering group.

l am increasingly concerned about the impact of the cost of living crisis and oppose any council tax increases.

My private sector experience suggests that all organisations have inefficiencies to be challenged in order to fund essential services.

I intend to address the obvious problems in our education system. Despite the efforts of many teachers the Government seems fixated on sex education, mental ‘healthism’and child-centred learning rather than strong academic teaching, good behaviour and character development.transgender ideology is actively promoted and parents are not being consulted.

I want to stand up for parents and families and ensure concerns about their child’s development are listened to and acted upon.

Council spend and outcomes in this area needs careful scrutiny.
