Danny Gibson - Stirling North Danny Gibson, a Labour and Co-operative councillor since 2012, lives in Riverside with his wife and children.

Danny says: “my primary mission is to address the cost of living crisis and help improve lives.

“I’ll continue to fight against Snp/green cuts to council budgets.

“My ward priorities include more investment in flood prevention along the Forth. I’ll continue to fight development at Airthrey Kerse and tell the Scottish Government to stay out of local planning issues.

“We need to increase civic pride in our city centre and more resources to tackle anti-social behaviour and strengthen enforcement. We need a local bus network that puts public good before private profit. We need to recycle more and landfill less and deliver more innovative energy solutions like the successful District Heating scheme in Springkerse.

“I’m excited by alternative models of business ownership, including co-operatives, social enterprises and credit unions.

“The council must build more affordable housing and maintain the current‘houses of Multiple Occupation ’limit in the city centre.

“I’ll support investment in play equipment in parks and refurbishment of the toilets at Causewayhead.”
