Camper vanprobe

Police are probing a hit-and -run after a man was struck by a camper van on at the A84 at the weekend.

The incident took place on the route, near Doune, on Sunday and involved a white Ford camper van – with the driver of the vehicle failing to stop or report it.

Police are now conducting enquiries into the circumstances of the incident, including asking for witnesses or those with dash cam footage which could assist to come forward.

It’s understood that the incident was a minor collision, where the man’s arm was struck by the wing mirror of the camper van. He did not require medical treatment.
