Rob Davies
Rob Davies has been a councillor since 2017 and living in the ward means that he knows firsthand just how disruptive the two bridge failures have been.
He is also aware of how bad the roads are in this rural ward. As an independent candidate his only loyalty is to his constituents and therefore can put their interests first rather than that of a political party that has its own agenda.
Rural wards have not had a meaningful representation on council committees in the past and, if re-elected, Rob will work hard to make sure that the council is fully aware of rural issues.
He undertakes to work in full collaboration with all councillors to ensure the best outcome for Forth & Endrick. In the short-term that means getting the bridges repaired and, in the longer-term, doing everything possible to promote economic development in the ward through better infrastructure.
