Stirling archaeolog­ist and historian Dr Murray Cook will be ‘Exploring Stirling’s Royal Park’ next weekend.

Dr Cook will be leading a guided walk through Kings Park, one of the city’s most historic areas on Saturday, April 30 from 10am until noon.

A spokespers­on said: “People can find our more as Dr Murray Cook unravels the history of this well-loved local landmark.”

Anyone looking for more local events to take part in can head to Legends at the Wallace Monument on April 30 when the Woodland Trust will be talking about trees and wildlife.
