I was born in Cowie and am married with two children and three grandsons.

I was first elected in 2007 and my constituents know that I have a good track record campaigning for anyone who approaches me for support.

My family is the most important thing in my life so I fully understand the challenges families face today with energy bills and general living costs rocketing.

I am a committed socialist and have worked hard representing my constituents since I was elected, especially the most vulnerable who feel discarded by society.

The Bannockburn ward has some of the most deprived communities in the Stirling Council area and I feel that I am best person to campaign on behalf of those who are suffering hardship.

If re-elected, it is my ambition to establish a Community Law Centre in Stirling to help tackle inequality which is sadly rife in our communities today.
