STIRLING EAST

A retired primary school teacher, I have lived in the ward since 2010.

This is the second time I have stood in Stirling East. I have wide experience of working on committees.

Many of the challenges that Scotland faces are global. I know that solutions can and must be delivered locally.

Councils play an important role in addressing local impacts of the climate and economic crises. We need to empower Stirling Council to carry on this work in our communities.

By voting for me as a Green councillor you can help to change how our council works.

I champion local initiatives aimed at reducing fuel and food poverty and promote active travel with better and safer walking and cycling routes. I’d like to popularise the Stirling Pollinator Strategy launched in 2020. I support Treelink Stirling and the work of Transition Stirling especially their Reuse Hub and Community Food.
