FULL STORY:

Police have launched a probe after a Strathblane family woke to find an intruder in a bedroom of the family home.

Two men, one wearing a balaclava, made off with a £4,000 watch and a set of car keys.

A woman, who lives at the address, in Dumbrock Road, took to social media to detail her terrifying ordeal.

She posted: “I was woken this morning just after 4am by someone in my bedroom.

“A few things missing but they were disturbed - at least two people – one dressed all in black with a grey balaclava on.”

It is thought the men left on foot.

An appeal has been issued for information.
