Driver wasover thelimit

A Tullibody woman was caught driving while more than four times over the alcohol limit.

Maryann Herlihy, of Dovecot Road, admitted a charge of driving in Union Street, Stirling, on February 16 this year, while the proportion of alcohol in her breath was 104mg in 100ml of breath. The limit is 22mg.

At Stirling Sheriff Court on Wednesday, Sheriff Derek Hamilton deferred sentence on the 34-year-old until May 25 for a criminal justice social work report. She was also disqualified from driving meantime.
