Stirling man (23) behaved aggressively with baseball bat
A man behaved aggressively while holding a baseball bat at his Stirling home.
Zac Sneddon had admitted a charge of behaving in a threatening manner by shouting, swearing and acting in an aggressive manner at his Maurice Avenue address on December 13, 2019, while in possession of a baseball bat.
The 23-year-old had also pleaded guilty to a charge of resisting two police officers by struggling violently with them there on the same date.
His not guilty pleas to charges of having an offensive weapon, a baseball bat, and assaulting a police officer by seizing and pushing him were accepted by the Crown.
When the matter called at Stirling Sheriff Court last week, Sneddon’s agent said there had been some confusion about the appointment with social work. She pointed out that Sneddon was in full time employment as a ground worker.
Sheriff Derek Hamilton further deferred sentence on Sneddon until
June 15 for the criminal justice social work report previously requested, but warned him that if he did not attend an appointment for the preparation of the report he would be placed in custody “job or no job”.
