Sentence deferred on knives man
A Stirling man held knives while behaving in a threatening manner at a neighbour’s house.
Robert Barclay had shouted and swore and made threats while in possession of the knives at an address in Pinkieknowe on July 24, 2021. The 32-year-old had been on bail on another matter at the time.
Barclay’s agent Virgil Crawford told Stirling Sheriff Court last week no report had been prepared for the court.
His client, he added, had already missed the interview appointment by the time he contacted the social work department about it and another appointment was set.
Sheriff Alison Michie adjourned the matter until June 22 for the criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order assessment. Bail was continued.
