-

Tickets are now on sale for a special Elvis Presley tribute night in Stirling next month, organised by Scottish Autism.

The fundraising event takes place on Friday, June 3 (doors open at 7.30pm) at Stirling Rugby Club and features Scotland’s own Johnny Lee Memphis singing all of the King’s biggest hits, including “All Shook Up”,“hound Dog”, “Suspicious Minds”and“a Little Less Conversation”.

The tribute songs will be followed by a buffet and a disco and there will be lots of other fun activities to get involved in on the night such as the‘wine or Water’game, ‘Closest to the Bottle’and a raffle.

Funds raised through the event will go towards a new creative space for children and young people to access at the charity’s New Struan School in Alloa. The space will allow pupils to learn a variety of life skills, including art, crafts and woodwork.

Mhairi Mccabe, classroom assistant at New Struan, said: “We are really excited to be putting on this Elvis event at Stirling Rugby Club to fundraise for a new creative space for the pupils we support at New Struan School in Alloa.

“We hope this fundraiser will allow us to enhance the facilities on offer at the school where pupils can be supported to gain important life skills.

“Look out those glad rags and come along and join us for what will be a fabulous night of entertainment singing and dancing to some of Elvis’s most loved tracks.”
