Wolf Pack return with focus on planet earth

-

Thistles shopping centre’s Wolf Pack kids’club returns for another year on Sunday, February 26, with a new schedule of free monthly events that encourage the next generation to help save the planet.

Over the course of the year, the Wolf Pack will bring 10 events to the kids of Stirling, with a focus on planet earth and sustainability.

Free to sign up to via the Thistles website, members of the Wolf Pack can take part in monthly activities between noon-4pm to learn about sustainability, join in arts and crafts sessions and have their faces painted.

Each month will have a different theme and this year’s programme kicks off with a fun packed creative crafting session celebrating National Whale Day, during which attendees will have the opportunity to make their own water spouting whale creations using recycled egg cartons.

Thistles centre director Gary Turnbull said:“the Wolf Pack is always a very popular event for us and we love to offer free monthly events to families in the Stirlingshire area and beyond, encouraging creativity with a purpose.

“We are to be joined once again by our Sustainable Supers. Each year they have done a fantastic job of keeping all of the Wolf Packers thoroughly entertained and engaged while teaching the kids about recycling and the sustainable measures we can all take to ensure we’re doing the best we can for the planet.

“From organic clay sculpting and handweaving to balloon art and face painting, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
