DUNBLANE BOYS BRIGADE
On Sunday, March 5, the Boys’ Brigade band will lead the musical side of worship at Dunblane Cathedral’s morning service at 10.30am. Everyone welcome to enjoy listening to and singing hymns along with the band. Tea and coffee served in the hall after the service. Anchor Boys have space available for P1-P3 boys to join. On Saturday March 11 the Dunblanelikhubula Partnership is holding a coffee morning, to which everyone is invited, in Dunblane Cathedral Halls from 10amnoon. Entry is £3 (adults) or £2 (kids). Home baking, cake and candy and lucky tombola on offer.
Brief talks/slideshows on each half-hour to show a little about the partnership’s ongoing vital work in Malawi and how your support will make a difference. Payments on the day can be made by cash or card/ contactless. All proceeds from the coffee morning go to supporting education and sustainable farming as well as any necessary emergency support our partner community might need. Rev Mike led worship on Sunday, after having a well-deserved break. This week, Holy Communion celebrated during service. Afterwards, it is hoped as many as possible will stay for Soup Lunch, which replaces the usual tea and coffee session. Winners of the Sweetie Quiz announced at this event. T-in 2 continues weekly, every Wednesday, from 10.30am-noon. Come for a blether and a cuppa. We continue to collect for the Gate foodbank and donations can be handed in on any Sunday or at any other time the church is open.
