DUNBLANE BOYS BRIGADE

On Sunday, March 5, the Boys’ Brigade band will lead the musical side of worship at Dunblane Cathedral’s morning service at 10.30am. On Saturday March 11 the Dunblaneli­khubula Partnershi­p is holding a coffee morning, to which everyone is invited, in Dunblane Cathedral Halls from 10amnoon. Entry is £3 (adults) or £2 (kids). Home baking, cake and candy and lucky tombola on offer.

Brief talks/slideshows on each half-hour to show a little about the partnershi­p’s ongoing vital work in Malawi and how your support will make a difference. MENSTRIE PARISH CHURCH

Rev Mike led worship on Sunday, after having a well-deserved break. This week, Holy Communion celebrated during service. Afterwards, it is hoped as many as possible will stay for Soup Lunch, which replaces the usual tea and coffee session. Winners of the Sweetie Quiz announced at this event. T-in 2 continues weekly, every Wednesday, from 10.30am-noon. Come for a blether and a cuppa. We continue to collect for the Gate foodbank and donations can be handed in on any Sunday or at any other time the church is open. Future diary dates: Guild coffee morning on Saturday March 18, 10amnoon, all welcome; Lenten Bible Study sessions on Tuesday mornings for five weeks starting March 7.
