Magical Easter holiday event

- STAFF REPORTER

Fairytale magic is returning to Stirling in a few weeks to raise money for charity.

Tinkerbells Emporium and Nevermore Tattoos have teamed up once more to bring their Fairytale Trail (Chapter Two) to Stirling’s streets on Sunday, April 2.

Almost 150 children and adults enjoyed a magical time in the heart of Stirling last year.

The young walkers and their families helped to raise almost £2,200 of the £7,000 the two businesses have raised for charity so far.

The sponsored 2k walk is suitable for all ages and also dog friendly.

There are finishers’ bags for all entrants along with plenty of fun taking place on Friars Street.

All proceeds go to National Autistic Society Scotland.

Last year’s 2km trail featured favourite fairytale and story characters such as the Three Bears, Gruffalo, Pinocchio, The Gingerbread Man, Rapunzel.

Lisa Davidson, owner of Tinkerbells Emporium, urged people to sign up to the event and raise money for a great cause.

She commented: “It’s such an amazing event and we would love to get even more people to sign up to do the 2k walk.

“The walk starts at 1pm and minimum sponsorship to enter is just £20.

“Sponsor forms and sign up is at Tinkerbells Emporium and every entrant across the finish line at Kings Park gets a magical finisher bag and certificate.

“It’s magical wonderful Easter holiday fun and wheelchairs, dogs, prams etc are all welcome.

“Everyone dresses up and I’ll be leading the walk as Tinkerbell herself.

Lisa added:“we will have fun events on Friars Street from 11am until the walk starts outside the Albert Halls at 1pm.”
