Join in Binos’ special awards event

-

Stirling Albion are celebrating an already cracking season on Sunday.

With plenty still to play for, the Binos are inviting fans to take part in their Annual Awards Ceremony on April 23 at Mcque’s in Bannockburn.

It’s a day of food, awards, comedy, DJ and much more from 2-8pm.

The age 16 and over event will be hosted by BBC Sport presenter, Brian Mclauchlin, and awardwinning comedian Eric Davidson will be on hand to keep everyone entertained.

The first team squad, management team and U20s squad will be on hand for the day of celebration and awards – such as Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Goal of the Season.

And one lucky ticket holder will win a season ticket for next season.

Commercial manager Christine Curtis said:“the club are excited to bring an awards ceremony to our fans this season which has kindly been sponsored by MKM.

“The season so far has been fantastic and we are in a strong position - however we are all keeping our feet firmly on the ground as there is lots of football yet to be played. We are taking each game as it comes.

“That said, the commercial team is very busy planning this event, which we promise will be a fabulous day with the players and management. It certainly is not one to be missed, it could be the hottest ticket in town come Sunday April 23.”

Eric Davidson is recognised as one of Scotland’s finest after dinner speakers, comedians and speech writers and started writing and performing comic poetry around the clubs and bards of Edinburgh and Glasgow. In 2003 he started performing on the busy Scottish after dinner circuit and has performed across the length and breadth of Scotland and the UK, picking up several after dinner speaking awars along the way and sharing top tables with major politicians, sporting greats and many television personalities.

Dress code is smart casual – no trainers please. Tickets, price £50, are available from the Stirling Albion online shop on the club website.
