TIME is one of the most valuable resources we have as a businesses.
Whilst we regularly wish we could have more hours in the day, we find ourselves looking for new and improved ways of working that allow us to make the best use of our time.
It is my experience that, as companies, we are very good at finding ways of managing large projects and work areas efficiently in order to ensure we meet deadlines and deliver services to customers.
However, not all of our activity can be easily ’slotted into’ one of these areas, but it is frequently these tasks that can be the biggest drain on our time.
With this in mind, I was keen to highlight for you the new My Stockport Account.
Recently launched by Stockport Council, the My Stockport Account makes information about business rate accounts available to busy company owners on demand.
The account allows companies to view and manage their business rates account securely online, whilst also giving the ability to submit information and enquiries more easily.
Having this facility available makes it simpler for us to update the council about important information relating to our businesses, freeing us up to then go back and concentrate on other work areas.
Registering for your My Stockport Account is simple and straightforward. All you need is your business rates account number and to visit stockport.gov.uk/ myaccount.
