Terror for knife attack shop man

-

ARMED thieves ran a knife along a shopkeeper’s neck before breaking his collar bone during a terrifying off-licence robbery.

The victim has been left ‘psychologically scarred’ by the terrifying attack, which also left him with head injuries.

His ordeal began as he was closing up SK Beers on Lambeth Road, Stockport, on May 3, and two men came in. One was armed with a machete, the other with a knife.

As he tried to run away, the shopkeeper was tripped up and kicked in the head. Brutally, they then ran the blade of a knife across his neck. After stealing his iPhone and some cash, the men ran off, leaving the victim with a broken collar bone and head injuries.

The man armed with the machete is described as being of mixed race, in his late teens or early 20s .and had short dark hair. He was 6ft 2in, of average build and was wearing a brown T-shirt and black tracksuit bottoms.

The second man was of mixed race, 6ft, medium build, about the same age as his accomplice, and with short, dark, curly hair and a thin moustache.
