A FAMILY musical extravaganza will be taking place at St Paul’s Church, Heaton Moor, on Friday, May 22, in aid of the victims of the Nepal earthquake disaster appeal.

Singers from the Manchester College, Laurel Lane children’s choir and the Nightingale singers will be taking the stage. There will also be a raffle and refreshments.

Suggested donations are £5 for adults and £2 for children which is payable on the door.

MOTORISTS are warned to expect disruptions as Gordon Street, in Heaton Norris, is resurfaced.

The work is scheduled to take place between May 10 and May 29.

Diversions will be in place along Nicholson Street, Lancashire Hill, Wharf Street, Sheffield Street and Whernside Close.
