And golfers raise £12,000 for appeal
ALMOST a hundred golfers took to the course for Beechwood’s annual Golf Day on Friday.
The sun shone at the fourball event at Hazel Grove Golf Club, which included refreshments from Bredbury Hall and Carlsberg UK at the halfway house, a meal and entertainment.
A total of 24 teams of four took to the tees to raise around £ 12,000, including the main sponsor of the event, David Cheetham. The winning team of golfers was led by Reuben Fielding, one of Beechwood’s trustees, and prizes were provided by Mulbury Homes and Pareto FP. A hole- in- one contest was sponsored by Jaguar - Land Rover dealer Guy Salmon Stockport.
