CARERS EVENT
MORE than 300 people attended a carers information day at Stockport Town Hall.
Mayor of Stockport, Andrew Verdeille, was among those at the event, which had 60 stalls offering advice and support.
Among the groups with a stall were Signpost for Carers, Healthy Minds and Stockport Citizens Advice Bureau.
Coun Verdeille said: “It is essential for residents and carers to be able to access reliable and trusted information.”
