CHOIR CONCERT

A PERFORMANCE of music through the ages will take place at a Stockport church.

The choir from Robinson’s College, Cambridge, will give a concert at St George’s, on Buxton Road, Heaviley, on June 23 from 7.30pm.

Members will perform choral and instrumental music from the sixteenth century to modern day barber shop.

Tickets are £8 (concessions £5) on the door. Proceeds split between the choir and the church’s organ restoration fund.
