More companies choose S-Park

A CHINESE electronics firm and an air conditioning business have taken space at Stockport business development S-Park.

Chint and air conditioning business Efficient Cool Heat join occupiers including the recently-opened Jaguar Land Rover dealership and Big Yellow Self Storage.

The development’s first phase, which was completed in the summer of 2013, comprised five units totalling 48,600 sq ft with the majority sold or let off-plan.

JLL and Davies Harrison were appointed to market the 14 units included in the second phase, which total 90,000 sq ft, last year.

Mark Sillitoe, industrial and logistics director at JLL, said: “As one of the first sites built as part of the return of speculative development in the north west, S-Park is one of the most high profile new build schemes in the region.

“The final phase of units has already proven significantly popular – with businesses attracted by the site’s existing strong occupier mix with a range of well-known brands taking space at the park – as well as its broad mix of unit sizes and easy access to the M60, Manchester city centre and the airport.”
