Wanted... people who will care
STOCKPORT care group Borough Care is holding a recruitment event in Mersey Square on Saturday, June 20
Stockport’s 11th largest employer has 550 staff working across 11 care homes in the town and is looking for carers and housekeepers to join the team who are passionate about the care of older people, many living with dementia.
Working hours are day or night shifts, with permanent or bank contracts.
There are also opportunities to volunteer for anyone who can spare just a few hours a week.
Borough Care chief executive Kathryn Farmer said: “It takes a very special person with compassion, patience and quite simply kindness of heart to provide the best possible care and support for older people.
“At Borough Care we are immensity proud of our team and are seeking to add more like-minded, genuine people who believe they can make a difference.
“We offer full training, excellent development opportunities and the chance to make a real difference to someone’s life.
“How many people get the chance to say that every day?”
The event runs from 9am to 5pm.
