PURE 107.8FM
ONCE again Stockport’s radio station Pure 107.8FM is searching for Stockport’s Perfect Pub.
We want to find the best local in the borough and we want you to help.
We have narrowed down the search to eight finalists suggested by Pure listeners. Throughout June in the Stockport Express we will be highlighting two of the finalists each week.
We’ll be talking to the licensees and the locals in all of the pubs over the next few weeks on Pure 107.8FM. If you want to vote for your favourite then send an e-mail to pub@pureradio.org.uk with your chosen pub in the subject bar. Voting closes at 2pm on Friday, June 26, and any multiple voting will be disqualified.

Marple Tavern: Kate Sheils and Graham Wright are the new management couple at the pub.
It’s had a complete refurbishment. Kate and Graham are keen to run charity and community events at the pub this summer.
Nursery Inn: The pub is closing this month for a refurbishment.
Assistant manager Rachel Kaufman told Pure the pub is going still retain it’s old world charm but it will look even better afterwards.
