A CHARITY football match is due to be held at Woodley Sports Football Club to raise cash for Cancer Research.

The clash between Offerton Park Football Club and Newall Green Football Club will take place on Saturday, June 27 with kick off at 3pm.

It has been organised by Darren Bowden and Matthew Bailey, who run Offerton FC.

Newall Green FC is run by Jordan Raynes, who is also the disability foundation officer at Stockport County, and ex-County player Michael Raynes will also be there on the day.

A FRIENDS of our Valley Tea Dance will take place on Saturday, June 27.

It will be on at the Roman Lakes Leisure Park from 5.30pm.

Tickets cost £15 including a meal and people can being their own alcohol.
