Venues up for awards

TWO Stockport venues feature in the Manchester Food and Drink Festival Awards.

Brassica, in Heaton Moor, has been shortlisted in the Newcomer of the Year category, sponsored by our sister paper the Manchester Evening News, while the revamped Bakers Vaults in the town centre is in the running to be Pub of The Year.

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner in September and will be decided by a mix of public votes and a judging panel.
