Caring for ‘danger dogs’

GREATER Manchester Police is currently seeking someone to ‘provide temporary accommodation and essential veterinary care for dogs seized under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

The contract, worth between £600,000 and £1m, will run for four years from September this year.

Duties include providing accommodation and treatment for seized dogs, but also arranging the destruction of dogs in compliance with any court orders.
