Caring for ‘danger dogs’

GREATER Manchester Police is currently seeking someone to ‘provide temporary accommodat­ion and essential veterinary care for dogs seized under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

The contract, worth between £600,000 and £1m, will run for four years from September this year.

Duties include providing accommodat­ion and treatment for seized dogs, but also arranging the destructio­n of dogs in compliance with any court orders.
