Darts event hits the mark
DRINKERS at an Edgeley pub hit the bullseye with their fundraising efforts.
Regulars at the Jolly Crofter, on Castle Street, Edgeley, took part in a darts marathon and raised £2,422 for the Christie.
This was the second year running the pub and its darts team has organised the event, beating last year’s total of £2,100.
There was also a raffle and landlady Sue Holmes, 52, has thanked all those who took part or donated prizes.
It is hoped £10,000 can be raised this year with the next event the Muddy Race for Life.
