CAR TORCHED

POLICE are investigating after a car was destroyed in an arson attack.

Officers and firefighters were called to Gloucester Road, Heald Green, on Sunday at 2am.

A Vauxhall Astra had been set on fire after the front passenger window was smashed and petrol poured onto the seat.

Police have appealed for witnesses. Call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
