Gallimore doubles up on 180s

STEVE Gallimore was in tremendous form in the Stockport Individual Premier League, when he fired home superb darts of 16, 15, 17, 11 and 14 including two 180 maximums to take out Ian Dickinson 5-0.

John Hyman reached his doubles in 27, 21, 18, 16 and 24 to win 5-0 against Ben Simpson. He then enjoyed a 5-1 win over Stephan Graham.

Steve Rogers (18, 24, 22, 19 and 20) opened his account with a 5-2 victory against Frank Guest, before shots of (27, 20, 19, 18 and 22) gave him a 5-0 result over Mick Cosgrove, who moved on to win his final game 5-1 against Simpson in (21, 31, 17, 13 and 21) darts.

Paul Holland despite taking a 3-1 lead over Steve Pritchard in his first game crashed 5-3, he then improved in his closing game with shots of (17, 21, 22, 23 and 19) to beat Guest 5-2.

Dave Beckett stepped up to the oche to win his first outing 5-1 over Derek Higgins, before reaching the winning post in five straight legs of (17, 17, 16, 17 and 19) against Rick Shelmerdin­e, who made amends in his last game by sending out Simpson 5-0, with winning shots of (19, 14, 16, 18 and 20).

Paul Taylor turned on the magic with a 5-1 victory over Stinger Wray, the Stockport Sharp shooter moved on with top class shots of (21, 23, 17, 13 and 15) that gave him a 5-0 win against Lee Taylor.

In the Stockport Super League Fingerpost with the help of Steve Pritchard (17, 14) Dave Airey (17, 16) Nathan Aspinall (18, 20) and Shaun Barlow (20, 21) won by the odd game 4-3 at Kenilworth .

Armoury A sent Queens A home with a 7-0 defeat, Holland (22, 15) Rogers (24, 19) Kevin Weir (21, 23) and Simon Hardman (25, 27) were their target men.

Star and Garter A outsmarted Thatched Tavern 5-2, Alan Wilkinson (18, 13) Steve Atkinson (19, 28) Mike Smith (19, 26) Cosgrove (20, 21) and Taylor (24, 18) were their top shots.

Grapes Hazel Grove crushed Wheatsheaf A 6-1 in Premier Division, Vic Clegg (24, 20), Ryan Slate (17, 26) and Brad Clegg (22, 31) were the main winners for the home side.

Town Hall Tavern demolished Jack and Jill 7-0, Dave Salt (24, 20) Tim Burns (22, 31) and Brian Blake(20, 38) were their top players.
