THE following people have appeared before Stockport magistrates:

GARY JOSEPH PEARSON, 46, of Hilda Avenue, Cheadle, admitted the use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Community punishment order with a curfew.

MARTIN THOMAS BANNISTER, 40, of Abbey Road, Cheadle, pleaded guilty to assault. Twelvemonth conditional discharge, restraining order, £250 costs.

LUKE JAMES RUTHERFORD, 22, of Stockport Road, Cheadle Heath, admitted assault. £200 compensation, £250 costs.

DANIEL COWAN, 42, of Reddish Road, Reddish, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. Fined £73, £85 costs.

JAMIE GILL, 39, of Compstall Road, Romiley, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. Twelve month conditional discharge, £85 costs.

LEON HAWKINS, 30, of Westwood Road, Heald Green, admitted assault. Fined £140, £100 compensation, £85 costs.

LEE MICHAEL PALMER, 28, of Lower Fold, Marple Bridge, pleaded guilty to assault. Community punishment order with a curfew, £150 compensation, £85 costs.

LUKE STEPHEN SLEIGH, 21, of Elizabeth Avenue, central Stockport, admitted shoplifting. Community punishment order with 40 hours of unpaid work, £100 costs.

MARK EDWARD OWENS, 39, of Town Street, Marple Bridge, pleaded guilty to drinkdriving. Fined £200, 17-month ban, £85 costs.

GEORGINA SHARON LALLY, 38, of Woodlands Avenue, Woodley, admitted shoplifting and failing to surrender to custody. Eighteen-month conditional discharge, £172 compensation.

ANNA MARIE HARRINGTON, 40, of Marlowe Walks, Bredbury, was found guilty of assault. Conditional discharge, restraining order, £500 costs.

NEIL LOWRY, 49, of Marlowe Walks, Bredbury, was found guilty of assault. Community punishment order with 100 hours of unpaid work, restraining order, £100 compensation, £500 costs.
