STATUE PLEA

AN APPEAL has been made for the return of a rabbit statue stolen from an allotment.

The two-foot stone bunny was taken from Billy’s Lane Allotments, in Cheadle Hulme, between June 22 and 26.

Owner Josie Rich, 67, of Cheadle Hulme, has reported the theft to police and is asking anyone who has seen it to get in touch.

She said: “It is very charming and authentic.” Anyone who has information can call Josie on 486 1918.
