National award for Natasa
A STOCKPORT housing officer has won a national award.
The council’s strategic housing officer Natasa Dojcinovic won the ‘Inspirational Colleague’ accolade in the Housing Heroes Awards run by Inside Housing magazine and the Chartered Institute of Housing.
The award was in recognition of Natasa’s work to secure funds for the transformation of the Dawlish Avenue learning disability scheme’s outdoor space in Brinnington.
Natasa was shortlisted from almost 200 entries and was one of nine finalists in the inspirational colleague category.
Councillor Patrick McAuley said: “Natasa is a shining example of the level of dedication and hard work our strategic housing team shows in providing excellent services to our community.
“It is really important for all residents to have access to outdoor spaces in order to help improve their quality of life and overall wellbeing.”
