Fun in the sun at community festival

HEALD Green celebrated its annual community festival in the sunshine.

Families descended on Heald Green Village Hall and the surrounding field to enjoy a variety of family activities, including a fairground, donkey rides, go karting, games and a bucking bronco.

The celebration began with a fancy dress procession around the village, led by the Oldham Pipe Band and featuring a float decorated by 3rd Heald Green Scouts and Cubs.

Visitors enjoyed a variety of food, and also had the chance to visit a wide range of community stalls.
