-

STOCKPORT County will kick-off their new campaign at home to Boston United before visiting FC United in their first away game.

FC United have been promoted to step two for the first time this year and have just moved into their new stadium.

The visit of County was going to be their biggest home game of the season given the Hatters’ proximity and their fanbase.

And Neil Young’s men will make the short trip to Moston for FC’s very first league game at Broadhurst Park on Tuesday, August 11. The return fixture is on Saturday, December 5.

County will continue their National League North campaign with a home match against Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday, August 29, with the reverse fixture held at Bower Fold over Christmas - on Monday, December 28.

That game comes between a festive double-header against Harrogate Town, with the Yorkshire outfit visiting Edgeley Park on Boxing Day before they play host to the Hatters on Saturday, January 2.

Curzon Ashton have also been promoted with FC United and they host County on Saturday, October 17, with the return fixture at Edgeley Park on the final day of the season – Saturday, April 30.
