THE following people have appeared before Stockport magistrates:
LIAM TOM GIBSON, 21, of Lowndes Close, Offerton, admitted assault. Community punishment order with 40 hours of unpaid work, £50 compensation, £85 costs.
JOHN BARRY NOLAN, 46, of Wharfedale Road, Reddish, was found guilty of assault. Twelve weeks’ jail suspended for a year, curfew, £200 costs.
DARREN ANTHONY SURITAN, 47, of Mount Drive, Marple, admitted drink-driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance. Community punishment order with a curfew, 28-month driving ban, £85 costs.
JORDAN LEE SWEENEY, 18, of Peak Street, Portwood, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and failing to surrender to custody. Four weeks’ detention in a young offenders’ institution.
DEVEN MICHAEL DONLON, 25, of Pendlebury Towers, Lancashire Hill, admitted breaching a restraining order. Community punishment order with a curfew, £40 costs.
MICHAEL DAVID ROGERS, 29, of Lymm Close, Bridgehall, pleaded guilty to assault. Community punishment order with a curfew, restraining order.
DAVID HUNT, 60, of Blackberry Lane, Brinnington, admitted racially-aggravated assault. Jailed for 18 weeks, £100 compensation.
ANTHONY JOHN WOOD, 30, of Warren Close, Bramhall, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Fined £615, 22-month driving ban, £85 costs.
RICHARD KEEN, 31, of Blackberry Lane, Brinnington, admitted shoplifting. Community punishment order with an activity requirement, fined £37, £18 compensation, £85 costs.
GEORGIA MELISSA JANE BLOOMFIELD, 18, of Rushfield Road, Cheadle Hulme, was found guilty of racially aggravated use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and admitted two counts of failing to surrender to custody. Community punishment order with 100 hours of unpaid work, £50 compensation, £150 costs.
MICHELLE TRACEY CONLON, 46, of Swinburne Green, Reddish, admitted one count of shoplifting and one of theft. Community punishment order with a curfew, £500 compensation.
