This is going to be a wonderful event for the children and the chance for them to dress up as their favourite Disney hero and get their photos taken with the likes of Cinderella, Elsa and Ana, The Genie and many many more. Tickets are priced at £9 for adults and £7.50 for children with special family deals also available. You can buy online or call 0333 666 3366 to grab your tickets over the phone.

We still have places on our summer workshops too so visit the website for more details! Darren Stannage and Fab Music Store. When Brin first visited Seven Miles Out he told us about his vision to run an inclusive artist studio and gallery for professional and amateur artists, including people on the autistic spectrum.

The studio would be a place where individuals with ASD could mix with like-minded individuals to help reduce the sense of social isolation many individual adults with ASD experience and also provide an opportunity for them to improve social skills.

This vision is now becoming a reality with the creation of The Artism Gallery at 8 Market Place which has been able to open thanks to funding from the Portas Pilot Delivery Group. The first opportunity to take a look inside is on Saturday, July 18, from 11am to 4pm where a wide variety of artwork will be on display including some of Brin’s signature sticky tape sculptures.

Visitors are encouraged to pop in on Saturday and find out more about Artism and its work which is making a big difference in the local community. Find out more at www.artismuk. webs.com or visit their Facebook page Artism UK. Rosemary Barratt
