THE following people have appeared before Stockport magistrate­s:

JAMES AARON CLAY, 36, of Stockport Road, Marple, admitted class A drug possession and was found guilty of assault. Jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for a year, 280 hours of unpaid work, £100 compensati­on, £250 costs.

ADRIAN CHRISTOPHE­R FRANCIS SEATON, 32, of Harwich Close, Brinningto­n, pleaded guilty to theft. One year conditiona­l discharge, £150 compensati­on, £85 costs.

DANIEL GEORGE SMITH, 39, of Ash Avenue, Cheadle, admitted theft. Eight weeks’ jail suspended for six months, £150 costs.

SUSAN FITZPATRIC­K, 55, of Posnett Street, Edgeley, was found guilty of shopliftin­g. Fined £110, £370 costs.

NICOLA JANE BYRNE, 43, of Elizabeth Avenue, central Stockport, admitted assault. Community punishment order with 40 hours of unpaid work, £85 costs.

CRAIG DAVID JAMES, 29, of Almond Close, Cheadle Heath, pleaded guilty to assault. Twelvemont­h conditiona­l discharge, £85 costs.

DOMINIC MULLENDER, 34, of Victoria Park, Offerton, admitted breaching a non-molestatio­n order. Fined £92, £20 costs.

MCCAULEY JAMES CARTWRIGHT, 20, of Nelstrop Walk, Heaton Chapel, pleaded guilty to theft and two counts of attempted theft. Community punishment order with 70 hours of unpaid work, £675 compensati­on.

IAN TERENCE GRAY, 32, of Craig Road, Heaton Mersey, admitted drink-driving. Community punishment order with a curfew, 23month driving ban, £85 costs.

RUSSELL NICHOLSON, 51, of Lorgill Close, Davenport, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Fined £110, one-year driving ban, £85 costs.

STEVEN ORLANDO FARRELL, 39, of Queens Gardens, Cheadle, admitted shopliftin­g. One year conditiona­l discharge, £85 costs.

ROBERT JONES, 41, of Celtic Street, Offerton, pleaded guilty to assault. One-year conditiona­l discharge, £85 costs.

DANIEL GARY POLLITT, 25, of Hobson Street, Reddish, admitted driving without due care, driving without insurance, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report and accident. He was given a £300 fine, must pay £600 compensati­on, eight licence penalty points.
