School’s donation for Harry

-

A REDDISH primary school has raised more than £800 for a children’s hospital after losing one of its pupils to cancer.

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School raised the money for Ward 84 at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, which treated pupil Harry Griffin Brown before he died in May aged just nine.

They also unveiled a bench and released balloons in his memory.

The school will be working with his family to support Harry’s new appeal, ‘Harry’s Holiday Hangout’.

For more details about the appeal see page 6.
