Santa to hit streets with Rotary helpers

FATHER Christmas is embarking on a tour of Stockport and here’s where you can meet him.

The Rotary Club of Stockport Lamplighter is taking Santa on his travels around the borough over the next few weeks.

Youngsters will have the opportunity to meet Santa and tell him all about their Christmas lists at a variety of different locations - helping to raise thousands of pounds for local charities.

His first appearance took place at the Heatons Christmas festival over the weekend.

He will next appear on Green Pastures in Heaton Mersey tonight (Wednesday) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
