SEVEN MILES OUT

WE can’t believe that Christmas is just around the corner, so our events have a decidedly festive feel this week.

Join us tomorrow (Thursday, December 15) from 7.30pm for The Christmas Cryptic Quiz which is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Our usual fun and frolics are guaranteed with our quizmaster Paul Jardine, freelance web designer and illustrator at Paul Jardine Web Design.

Paul has been working hard to come up with seven mind bending rounds of tinsel-tastic questions.

Entry is £1 per person and teams are more than welcome, with a maximum of four people per team to keep it fair. As usual there will be some amazing prizes to play for.

We’ll also be screening the UK premiere of short film Heavy Metal as an added bonus for your entertainment after the quiz.

On Friday (December 16), we will be celebrating national Christmas Jumper Day at our festive Foodie Friday in Stockport Market Place from 6pm.

In Seven Miles Out we will have plenty of brilliant live music to keep you entertained throughout the evening, including Stockport Yulekelele Players, singersongwriters Martin Travers and Kevin ‘Leftie’ Farrell singing Christmas songs, James Barratt with his band Barratt showcasing some amazing new material and Foodie Friday favourites Mama Goose, who will be bringing the ceiling down... a little bit more!

With 14 street food traders outside and all the regular market traders inside the market hall, there will be plenty of top quality food and drink on offer to make this a special Christmas celebration for all the family in Stockport Old Town.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our customers and visitors a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We look forward to bringing you more great community events in 2017.
