- GOLF GEOFF GARNETT

THE ladies of Bramhall Golf Club have enjoyed a fantastic 2016 both on and off the course and they celebrated it in style with a Festive Fun Day.

They played their ninehole Christmas Competition in tinsel, Santa Hats and good spirit!

The winners of the Golf Competition were Jan King, Sarah Brown and Colette Bryant with 42 points and the runners-up were Claire Fitzpatrick, Maria Spencer and Sue Taylor with 41 Points.

The Lady Captain also presented a prize to the very imaginative team of Maureen Foster, Pat Newall and Lesley Williams - a.k.a. The Three Wise Golfers!

Then 95 ladies sat down to Hot Turkey Rolls and Mince Pies and the raffle took place for the lovely Hampers.

This raised £492 for the North West Air Ambulance and thanks was given to all who contributed to the hampers and the purchasing of raffle tickets.

The Bramhall Ladies Section look forward to 2017 with Good Golf and Good Fun!
