Homeless charity has 500 runners in big race

THE Great Manchester 10k run and the new Manchester Half Marathon take place on Sunday May 28, 2017.

The Wellspring has 500 fundraising runners running and fundraising for The Wellspring.

This is our biggest fundraising event of the year and it brings in vital funds to the charity in order to keep providing frontline services to homeless and disadvantaged people in Stockport 365 days a year.

We are currently looking for a new member to join our board of directors.

Our board meetings are quarterly and we are looking for a candidate with experience of grants and fundraising.

The Wellspring staff are currently working with over 100 street homeless people and sofa surfers.

Homelessness is increasing at a rapid rate and we are doing all we can to support everyone who needs our services.

Without the support we receive from the community of Stockport we would not be able to do this and homelessness in Stockport would be far worse.

The Wellspring achieves and documents thousands of pieces of support work over any 12-month period.

We address many different issues and provide support to hundreds of individuals.

We are currently looking for new volunteers to join our existing teams.
