Seven Miles Out

A NEW month is upon us already and that can only mean one thing, it’s time for Twang! this Friday evening from 7.30pm at Seven Miles Out.

Hosted by the wonderful Stockport Ukulele Players, every first Friday Twang! brings ukulele lovers of all ages together for a music social where they can strum along, sing along and take part in our Open Mic to showcase their talent.

There’s something of a ukulele revolution happening here in the North West with players travelling from all over the region to enjoy the special inclusive atmosphere of Twang! that welcomes people of all ages and experience for a fun night of ukulele action.

You can bring your own instrument or borrow one of ours but you can be sure of this, Twang! is the most fun you can have with four strings.

Hope you can join us. Non-ukulele players are also very welcome.

This Saturday night is our regular Saturday Sessions night when we showcase the best of local music curated by Kamey McNamara of Community Music. Kamey plays in the fantastic Mama Goose, one of our favourite bands, and runs Community Music which does amazing work encouraging people of all ages to express themselves through music.

This Saturday we have a great line-up of talented bands and musicians including singer-songwriter Phil Davies, drums and guitar-based duo I Am Mechanical and original band Wintergreen fronted by film producer Michael Knowles.
